Marcel's previous research centred on semiconducting nanomaterials, and he has transitioned to a current focus on solid-state materials for next-generation batteries. This work involves optimizing the electrode-electrolyte interfaces to enhance performance in Li-metal batteries, actively contributing to advancements in energy storage technologies.
